real change. real people.

TX House of Representatives - District 37

At 32, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and bring real change by building stronger communities from the ground up. It’s time for politicians to listen to the people again and put our neighbors first, not the status quo.

about me

I was born in 1992 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to two loving parents. My dad served in the Navy, so my early years were spent moving from place to place—Arizona, Jacksonville, Iowa, and eventually back to Jacksonville Beach, where I grew up. I played college soccer at the University of North Florida and studied Business Management, laying the foundation for a path that’s taken me through a wide range of experiences.

Throughout my 20s, I searched for the “right fit” working as a cosmetologist, project manager building custom homes, landscape design manager, and just about every service industry job you can think of. Each role taught me something new about people, community, and the systems that support (or fail) us. Today, I’m proud to work full-time as a youth girls soccer coach right here in Austin, a city I’ve called home for the past six years.

Lately, I’ve felt deeply compelled to step up and try to make a difference in this critical political moment. We’ve lost a real sense of community and it’s hurting all of us. It breaks my heart to hear the kids I coach express how hopeless things feel. That’s not the future any of us should want for them, or for each other.

I believe it’s time we start thinking and acting like a village again because that’s what it takes to build a better world. I’m ready to fight for policies that reflect that belief, and to bring people together around the shared responsibility of caring for one another.

key issues

rights for all

Every person on US soil deserves equal rights and respect, no matter their beliefs, skin color, sexuality, gender, or any other identity. Everyone should be treated with dignity and fairness simply because they are human. Politicians must realize American rights means rights for ALL.

HEALTHCARE FOR ALL

Texas Ranks #49 out of 50 for healthcare access and #45 overall for healthcare. Everyone deserves access to quality healthcare—no one should face financial ruin over an unexpected medical emergency. It’s unacceptable that health insurance companies make billions in profit while millions of Americans struggle to afford basic care. Healthcare isn’t a privilege, t’s a human right, and I’ll fight to make it accessible and affordable for all.

POLICE REFORM

Police reform doesn’t mean getting rid of law enforcement—it means using our massive public safety budget responsibly. For too long, we’ve expected police to solve complex issues like homelessness, mental health, and youth crises by simply throwing money their way. I believe in investing in real solutions: 24/7 publicly funded mental health centers, safe spaces for youth, and support systems for those struggling. It's time to rethink public safety to truly serve and protect everyone.

EDUCATION REFORM

Texas was ranked 40 in 2024 In K12 performance. I want to reform Texas state education by redirecting the hundreds of millions spent on STAAR testing toward more meaningful support for students. My priorities include providing free school lunches for all students and ensuring that schools in historically underfunded areas receive equitable funding to close the gap and improve educational opportunities.

COMMON SENSE GUN LAW

I support common-sense gun laws that protect our communities while respecting responsible gun ownership. We owe it to our children to take action—by passing laws that nearly 80% of Americans already agree on, like universal background checks and closing loopholes. It’s time to put public safety ahead of politics and lobbyists.

KEY ISSUES CONTINUED

FAIR TAXES FOR ALL

I believe the ultra-wealthy should pay their fair share in taxes. Our communities are strong, hardworking, and full of potential—but they need proper funding to thrive. By making sure the richest among us contribute fairly, we can invest in better schools, safer neighborhoods, and essential services that uplift everyone.

MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION

I would push to support HB .1208 which aims to permit adults aged 21 and over to use, possess, and transport up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis. Additionally, adults would be allowed to store up to 10 ounces of cannabis at their residence, provided it is kept in a secure location. Cannabis product packaging would be required to be child-resistant, clearly labeled, and not easily mistaken for candy. The proposed legislation also includes a 10% tax on cannabis sales, intended to generate substantial revenue for the state.

I’m committed to standing up against corporate landlords and wealthy investors who buy up countless homes just to rent them out at inflated prices. We need strong protections against rental price gouging and expanded rights for renters. I will work to increase access to affordable housing, prioritize homeownership opportunities for families—not corporations —and ensure our communities aren’t priced out of the places they call home.

what i believe

I’m running because I believe it’s time for change. Lloyd Doggett has served for over 30 years, and while I respect his legacy, our current political climate demands fresh leadership. We need young representatives who are living through the consequences of today’s decisions and ready to act.

As a coach, I’ve learned how to lead with empathy, communicate clearly, and bring people together toward a common goal. Those skills have prepared me to break down complex issues, listen to every voice, and fight for what’s right—on and off the field.

I want to empower people to feel connected to their communities and committed to the greater good. If elected, I’ll host monthly town halls to explain legislation in simple, honest terms. Most importantly, I’ll be present, active, and engaged in our neighborhoods—making sure you feel heard and represented every step of the way.
